A freelance writer with 20 years’ experience in reporting, creative nonfiction, and as a columnist, Karen has written for online magazines, news outlets, and faith-based organizations in the US and abroad. Writing features, editing copy, and reporting on current events helped Karen hone the perfect voice for a diverse world. Meanwhile, her long-term career with an international charity gives her ample opportunity to provide written and verbal analysis of cultural and religious trends to local and global audiences.

After 15 years in Europe, Karen and her family recently repatriated to the US where she works remotely as a freelance copywriter with high profile clients including Barna Group, Dr Henry Cloud, and Christianity Today. She is also a member of the Religion News Association.
